Gents: Today, Danny and Evan took us on a whirlwind "Soviet Reality Tour," (PPT) exploring our culture's stereotypes of Russia and some satirical glimpses of them. Y'all read a selection from Chapter 3 of Drift that we didn't discuss much, so for your blog post for this week, please provide some textual evidence from it that demonstrates how it connects to Evan and Danny's presentation.
And, with that, there's a slight change of plans: Kyle will miss class on Wednesday, the day he's supposed to present (and he and Quincy haven't given me their reading yet), so their presentation will take place on Friday. Until then, we'll spend Wednesday starting to watch a production of Hamlet. Thus, please be sure to continue reading the play (link) in preparation for our February 19th viewing of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
