With a roughly 46% attendance rate (thanks, Kairos and soccer!) today, we trekked into the land of the unit test. Nice work, you six test-takers.
For next class, please complete the revised draft of your Documentary Film Analysis (Word). A few words of aid:
Kairos guys: I hope you enjoyed the retreat! When you get back, we'll spend time hatching a plan to complete work that you missed.
Soccer players: I hope that you won, and that I can make the game on Tuesday against the Bombers.
And, of course, happy Friday the 13th to all of you.
For next class, please complete the revised draft of your Documentary Film Analysis (Word). A few words of aid:
- Remember that your overall goals involve analyzing the rhetoric of the documentary (and you don't have to use the words logos, ethos, and pathos) and evaluating its effectiveness (I.E. Answering for your specific audience the question "Should I see this movie?").
- Thus, choose a specific audience! Moeller students? New York Times readers? Cincinnati Tea Party Patriots? It's your choice!
- Don't forget the post-writing analysis / evaluation. Please type this with your work.
- Finally, please print your work, as well as the rubric above.
