Gents: Today, y'all chose areas of satire in World War Z and formed groups for presentation (Word). Then, you had some work time to flesh out your topic of satire, as well as to find connecting texts to present to your classmates.
For homework, please read Chuck Klosterman's "My Zombie, Myself" in The Language of Composition (pages 846-849). This will serve as a text for my model on Wednesday (B3) / Thursday (A4) for your class presentations.
Finally, please be sure to complete the Hamlet permission slip for 1/28/14 (PDF), as we'll be heading to the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company around 9:15 to see the show, which will last until 1:00 PM (bringing us back to Moeller around 1:45-2:00, as we'll stick around to ask questions of the actors)
