- Listened to the speech and read along.
- Reviewed the upper levels of Joliffe (PDF) for the speech
- Broke up the address by paragraphs and completed double-entry journals
- Shared our results, analyzed schemes and tropes
Fun stuff, eh? For homework:
- Complete your proposal, list of five resources (MLA format), two double-entry journals, or items 2-3 on the assignment sheet (PDF)
- Brief Reading: 21-23, 65-68 in Language of Composition. We'll talk about / analyze visuals next class.
- By the end of September: You need to write a check for $36 to the Moeller English Department for our 11/13 field trip to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and our 1/20 trip to Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
