For homework, please complete a seminar reflection that includes the following elements:
- Your zombie apocalypse story: This should include your opening section that you freewrote today in class, as well as the first onslaught of zombie attacks, as per World War Z.
- Your writing should reflect the tonal shifts that we practiced analyzing today in World War Z with Mary Jo Miller (the last interview in "Blame").
- After you provide your fictional story, write a paragraph in which you analyze your writing's shift in diction (concrete and abstract words), images, details, language, and syntax from one part to the next. Please provide an explanation for how you control your writing to obtain the holy level of form fitting function.
- Finally, feel free to offer any comments / thoughts / leftover ideas from our class today; you'll have the opportunity to do this every week for class discussions, so this is a great opportunity for you to has out anything remaining after a class seminar.
