After discussing the logos, ethos, and pathos in Cole's article about the "White-Savior Industrial Complex," I handed out visuals dealing with war. Groups (and some lone wolves) analyzed the images using the OPTIC method, focusing on the conclusions we can glean from both photographs and political / editorial cartoons.
