Today in class, we practiced some Toulmin analysis with paragraphs 7-8 of On the Duty of Civil Disobedience; this was in preparation for your next phase of your quarter project, the heralded / feared Toulmin Analysis. Again, feel free to create a graphic organizer akin to the one on the video I provided for you or to write the Toulmin parts via the way proscribe in The Language of Composition. Most importantly, be sure to devote brainpower / writing / paragraph(s) to challenging / supporting / qualifying the assumption/backing in your chosen article.
Finally, be sure to complete your seminar evaluation for Friday (A4) Monday (B3), when we'll review some more contemporary examples of civil disobedience.
