Gents: Today in class, we spent some time finishing the AP multiple choice prompts that we started on Wednesday; then, after a robust discussion about Orwell's "Politics and the English Language," we reviewed the 2011 AP Language Rhetorical Analysis Prompt about Florence Kelley's child labor speech.
For Tuesday, please complete your finished quarter project (you can find requirements and rubrics on the Quarter Project tab). On Tuesday, you'll write an in-class rhetorical analysis essay, which you'll have time to review and to grade based upon the AP Language scoring rubric.
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know. Our next field trip at Playhouse is on October 25th, so please keep an eye open for a permission slip.
