Gents: I'm in D.C. for a conference today (11/20 & 11/21), so you should write your essay in class on looseleaf paper. You can find the document for the essay on NetMoeller. Please be sure to plan your writing, skip lines, and provide a title for your essay. You may use your text.
When you finish, please submit your book to the shelf on the front of class (the left-bottom shelf, please!) and sign out your text on the book sign-out sheet on my desk.
Please staple your essay and hand it to the sub.
Your homework for next week (a two-day week) is to read Michael Chabon's "The Comforts of Not-Home" (PDF). We'll discuss this text in class before Thanksgiving break.
